Welcome to Norvell Township
Norvell Township is a civil township of Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,922 at the 2000 census. The township is named after John Norvell, one of Michigan’s first U.S. Senators.
Founded in the 1830′s, Norvell has retained the flavor of a small ethnic village that is proud of its heritage. The community is peaceful and values its progressive diversity.
Agriculture plays a large role in the community using the latest technology for large grain farmers, small niche vegetable and fruit farming and everything in between.
Here you will find information on local government planning, links to different resources and some fun history and facts about our great village. We also have a calendar of events in case you want to take part in our monthly meetings.
